EU Sustainable Finance Policy Lead, Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)
Biography
Tsvetelina Kuzmanova is a Sustainable Finance Lead at CISL Europe – Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, where she works on EU sustainable finance policies. Tsvetelina engages with EU institutions and stakeholders to achieve policy reforms for increased public and private sector investments for a climate-neutral and nature-positive economy. Her work helps divert capital flows towards assets that contribute to sustainable development. Tsvetelina is also a Member of the Insurance Advisory Panel at the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG).
Prior to joining CISL, Tsvetelina spent seven years working on EU legislation in sustainable finance and financial innovation at different government and civil society organisations. She has also worked on international development projects in Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, specialising in renewable energy and infrastructure. Tsvetelina holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Political Science and Diplomacy from Yonsei University, South Korea.
